That seems ****** to me. The first fight was an exciting action packed fight and the rematch should be more of the same. Hbo shows far worse fights all the time.

Alvarez is a Haymon fighter - and HBO knows that he beats Kovalev in the rematch. Why should HBO do Haymon any favors by paying for this fight? Plus, Kovalev is DONE. Why invest good money in a bad product?

I see it going to DAZN. Haymon & Showtime have avoided making the Stevenson & Alvarez fight. They have not invested in Alvarez so see him going to DAZN.

That may change in the near future. Alvarez' marketability is considerably more significant now...

He quit in the Ward rematch..
