The thing we learned from the Quillin fight is that if Jacobs can get to you first, he can get you out. The problem is if Canelo lands on that chin first.

And here is the other thing before I throw up making a case for Canelo. Danny has never faced anyone with the skill set of Canelo who has the ability to fire off punishing combinations and has power in both hands. And here is a news flash. Canelo has never been dropped or hurt and took some great shots from GGG. I know this isn’t an objective boxing forum but I have to be on this one. Not an easy KO win for Danny and he might be KO’ed because Canelo can eat a better shot.

Great assessment man. I agree with everything you said.

Styles make fights and if Danny's chin holds up his speed and lenght would give Canelo fits.

Everyone saying Canelo is a small MW is worrisome. I wonder how he does in the division.

You size advantage meant shiet vs GGG. Canelo puts this dude on his ass GUARANTEED. Gives him flashbacks of Pirog

I agree your your assessments. I do feel that Canelo is not really given all the respect he deserves for whatever reason. For this dude to say he think he'll KO him, its absurd. I think the more likely scenario is Canelo KO Jacobs.

Now Jacobs claimed in an interview when he got stopped by Pirog, he had just lost his grandmother so he wasn’t mentally there. And that he stayed down until the ref counted to 5 and was planning on getting up but the ref wouldn’t let him. Then he said he got careless going for the finish against Mora and just got caught. Then he said against GGG, it was a flash knockdown that he got caught off guard with. Then when they asked him about getting dropped in sparring, he said it was against Light heavyweights and Heavyweights he was sparring against. But the bottom line is, whatever the reasoning Jacobs has; he goes down when he gets hit flush by a good shot. And regardless if Canelo hasn’t knocked anyone out at middleweight; he has to hit much harder than Mora. And Canelo takes a good shot too.

Thanks, just trying to be fair with Canelo. He isn’t a push over by any means.

GEE is DJ's greatest loss he has to defend it to "UP" himself (it's what fighters do)

I agree. But i must admit, i dont know why I'm more intrigued in the possibility of CharloVsJacobs than i am CaneloVsJacobs. I think charlo is the real deal and would love to see that match up. If jacobs could win that fight, i would give him a much higher chance of beating Canelo.
