Difficult fight for Mares but I wouldn't count him out completely. There's a disadvantage coming up to a new weight and fighting perhaps the best at that weight. Not only that but Davis has been a knockout machine and is clearly very comfortable at his weight. Mares is a better boxer though, in my opinion. He could box circles around Davis if he's on his A game. The only tough part here though is knowing where Mares is mentally. He's coming off another loss to Leo Santa Cruz. Physically is he able, yes. But you also have to wonder where Mares' mind is at. Did losing to Santa Cruz again deplete his confidence? If so, what happens when Davis starts to land bombs? Will Mares succumb to the pressure? That's where I think the real questions lie. Technically, Mares wins. Based on pure power, Davis wins.

Yep going to be interesting to see what happens if Davis doesn't get him out of there early. He could really give Davis fits. Davis heart will be tested.

Mares is tailor made for davis. Hes gonna get iced bad in this fight. And this is coming froma fan of mares and someone who highly dislikes davis. Not a good style match up at all for abner.

Abner Mares is a dirty little cock-knocking faggot.

I hope Davis curb stomps him. Better wear some serious crotch protection though, cause given half a chance, faggy little Mares will zero in on Davis's dick.

Haney is too big for Davis imo. Size starts too matter more and more when both fighters are about equal in skill.

Devin is taller, but Tank is thicker, and Tank has more power than Devin! I think it's a 50/50 fight @ 135! We'll see how Devin looks vs. Burgos.
