Is he under contract with HBO for how many fights?
They don't want to get stuck with a loser more than
    they already are.
This is strange because reports from Montreal are that HBO has hoped into the Alvarez wagon so I. According to RDS and TVA ( sport channels in Quebec), Kovalez has apparently picked up his rematch option:

It was the knockout that shocked the world.
HBO has to air the rematch (if there is one)!

They should milk Bivol before he gets popped like a pimple.

I don't understand the attitude around a fighter which is as soon as he gets a decision and stops KOíng everybody, he's no good anymore.

Bivol is only 14 fights into his pro career and is not an older amateur introduction fighter like Beterbiev or other similar pugilists from the former USSR who spent a long time in the amateurs and then burst on the scene when they're 30.

He's still a learner as far as I'm concerned, and Chilemba is a difficult assignment for any fighter. it's good for him to go 12 rounds because even Mike Tyson didn't knock everybody out, nor did other great heavies, except for an exceptional few.

Maybe they could tee him up with Badou Jack, which probably won't happen, as I think Jack dodged him to fight Stevenson.

It's a shame as I think it'd make for a great fight. Maybe they can put him in with Joe Smith Jr, and market it as Smith's last chance to redeem himself, and he has a good local following in...is it Long Island? Someone from the States help me out there please..

On the other hand, all the other belt match-ups are pretty exciting save Kovalev Alvarez II.

they both just quote what dan rafeal says. "will kovalev take the rematch"

"yes he will" but Marc Ramsay has even said they have not heard from anyone yet so the rematch has not been submitted, and with HBO saying NO that might be what's going on, the fight can still go on, but maybe just another network I hope it's in quebec.

Came out fast, opponent didn’t fold, then he hopped around and threw a few jabs here and a few jabs there, never really tried to pick it up again and faded badly to give some round away at the end.

I don’t see what the excitement’s all about.
Watch the Barrera fight...he dominated the fight, won every round and even knocked Barrera out in the last round. He just boxed his way to victory vs Chilemba because he didnt want to take any risk and Chilemba is tough to secure the fight vs Kovalev but then Alvarez won lol.
