Porter is rugged, but it wouldn't be too surprising if Garcia

Garcia can be a good matador against aggressive yet basic
opponents, but Porter is so awkward and scrappy that
    almost anything can happen.
Is Garcia strong enough to handle Porter in a rough fight?
Is Porter starting to get old from the wear-and-tear of his
    brutish style?
    Looking forward to this one.
Get off the fence. Who you got?

Could happen BUT I think Porter will wear down Garcia in an ugly and very physical fight. I know Garica never been stopped and can take a punch but I have a gut feeling that Porter will stop an exhausted Garcia in the later rounds, let say the 11th round.

      Porter TKO round 11.

I'm betting on Garcia's left hook to be the decider in this one, but I'd really like to see Porter win this. I think he has the better shot to beat Thurman in a rematch.

If a friend asked me who to bet on, I would say to bet
on Garcia to win a decision. He's the better boxer and
he is probably better connected if there is any *****ery.

But I'm not my friend, I'm my own worst enemy,
so I'm going out on a limb by saying that Porter will
stop Garcia. Somehow. It wont be pretty.
Garcia will get frustrated, cut, and dragged into Porter's
ugly fight. Garcia has the skill, but Porter has the will.
Garcia may get broken down, or he may find a reason
to quit. It might be similar to Bradley vs Alexander.
I actually do like both fighters, so this is just a whimsical
prediction fueled by indica & alcohol.

I'd like to see Porter win because he seems more humble
and down-to-earth. Porter might help an old lady cross
the street. Garcia seems more like he'd accidentally hit
her with his car and then flee the scene.

It's called the sweet science for a reason. All things being equal, or close. Age, weight (of course), power and condition, the better boxer will always prevail, but things aren't always equal. In this case, they're equal enough for me. Danny boxes better than Porter, and might even hit harder.

I'm predicting Porter will win this but Garcia seems to handle himself well in the ring and I wouldn't be shocked if he pulled out the win. Garcia likes his space and time to get his work done...Porter won't allow him the time and space for extended periods. Garcia's best opportunity will be to catch and hurt Porter while he's jumping in. I doubt that'll happen and I think Danny will be exhausted in the last half of the fight from the relentless pressure Porter will bring.

                  War Porter!

                  This is an exciting match-up!

Let's see....Porter does not hit harder than:

                    1) Matthysse
                    2) Thurman
                    3) Peterson
                    4) Judah
                    5) Khan
                    6) Morales
                    7) Holt
                    8) Campbell

All the above could not drop Garcia what makes you think feather fist Porter will?? I see Garcia dropping Porter between the 5th and 8th rounds

I'd say a key thing to look for if there is any *****ery going on is an early stoppage, point deductions from Porter's rough housing and undeserving score cards in favor of "The Gift" Garcia. Imo Garcia really has a chance with setting up some nice check hooks with a bull rushing Porter. But I think Porter will expect that coming into the fight. If I had to make a choice I'd say Porter by a wide UD or late stoppage. He's just too active and physical. Was amazed he could throw that much volume after making a catch weight against Broner.
