Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder Won't Communicate, Whyte is Favorite For Joshua

Eddie Hearn says Dillian Whyte is Anthony Joshua's most likely opponent at Wembley next April as a fight with Deontay Wilder "looks impossible". Joshua will put his WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO belts on the line against Alexander Povetkin on September 22.

No one really wants to see the Whyte rematch - but if Whyte beats Miller in the interim then it’s ok.

Outside of the Wilder / Fury winner, I can’t think of too many other credible opponents for April.

Maybe because he is focusing on Tyson Fury.
There won’t be any negotiating until he wins that fight.
Wilder is taking the right approach by focusing on his actual opponent.
Hearn’s plan all along to milk the in house fights anyway.
Only AJs fanboys are fooled. Go focus on Pedvekin.

These guys are sleeping on Pedvetkin, already talking about Dillian Shyte in the first quarter of 2019, then there's rumors of Olek Usyk -- its like Mismatchroom got the roadblocks set-up.

If Joshua really wants the fight that bad have him jump in the ring after the Fury bout. I assure you that he won't be banned from doing so.

Is that what I initially wrote? lol. Eddie Hearn is more interested in talking about Deontay Wilder than Alexander Povetkin, strange considering I understand these Brits will need to pay PPV for this defense and there is little buzz going on for a fight that is signed ; meanwhile Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury don't have a date and people are ready to pay a fee of 80+ dollars to witness this epic clash.
