    WBO featherweight champion, Oscar Valdez (24-0, 19 KOs), has been sidelined since March after suffering a fractured jaw during his bout with Scott Quigg. Valdez won a twelve round unanimous decision, but he fought through fire with a bad injury to his jaw.

      Valdez is a great talent and he's clearly a warrior. He deserves a tune up fight for his comeback. He's been in some nasty fights but the change to Eddy Reynoso should help him out defensively. I want to see Valdez against the elite featherweights but he definitely should be given a tune-up or two.
