He's a great fighter not to discredit him, the point is that - beating Usyk in the amateurs doesn't define him and his skills as a pro. Andre Berto beat just about everyone in the amateurs, guy was clearly the top of the top there.

Styles make fights, Shawn's awkwardness and strength can and will give just about anyone and everyone problems.
ugh how'd i know the first comment would be some dumb sh|t like this, i clearly stated in the original post i know the difference between ams-pros ..it was a discussion piece no need to come in here acting like a know it all

Amateurs is indeed different blah, blah, blah. I say Usyk wins a rematch by first round KO. Usyk is a much better fighter than Porter now and top 5 on mosts PFP best list. I doubt you'll find Porter on anybody's pfp top 10 best list.

These type of fighters always get to polished ams with great pedigrees. They're too schooled and become frigid and predictable as a result.

Fury did it to Klitschko, Castillo did it to Mayweather, Salido did it to Lomachenko and Wilder is going to do it to AJ. This kind of stuff happens all the time.

And Usyk beat Joe Joyce, therefore, Porter over Joyce. Amateur triangle theories...
