Oscar's a Idiot who ****ed up Things?

Him not taking the Floyd fight just screwed up alot of things in boxing. This fight was going to be huge and couldve broke all the records. Then it wouldve set everything else up because the winner couldve fought a guy like Winky or Oscar couldve just retired like he was going to do. Floyd vs Winky wouldve seemed much more reasonable then if Floyd wouldve beat a top guy like Oscar at 154.

Who the hell wants to wait a year for Oscar? He's already older now and next year he will be just a year older. So many things can happened. Floyd could lose before then and if Floyd does win one or 2 fights then this fight isnt as big anymore. Alot of people were thinking that Oscar could beat Floyd right now at 154 and the odds wouldve been close but no one at all will be picking Oscar if Floyd wins 2 fights by then because he will have had filled in with his weight by then and he mightve already had a fight at 154.

Then Oscar will have had just 1 fight in 2 years. Who the hell would pick Oscar then? Boxing needed this fight right now and it couldve been huge for the sport at the perfect time. Oscar just killed Mayorga and everyone was pumped up. Next year, it wont have that same steam and no one would think Oscar can win and Floyd might lose before then and you wont get a huge fight. Sure Oscar can fight Winky but that fight wouldnt be big for boxing or have any chance of breaking any records. Its not anyway near as sexy and doesnt have even half the subplots as a fight with Floyd would have.

Oscar is also in top shape right now and I can see him being a butter ball by then. The fact is that he's rich and lazy. He had a chance to make history with a record setting PPV and retire by beating the best guy in the game but next year both of those will be extremely long shots

I wish Oscar had taken this fight.
However, if he retires now then I cannot complain.
If he takes another fight though, i will be quite displeased.

He tore a muscle in his forearm and has a torn rotater cuff.

He's entitled to do whatever he wants, and the Mayweather fight not coming off as a result doesn't ruin anything because Oscar's a contender at 154 and Floyd has business at 147 and 140 if he wants it.

It would have been a big money fight, but it still will be in early 2007 when Oscar's healed and at 100%.

Oscar has earned the right to do whatever he wants and this decision only means that Floyd can look to make big fights in his own weight class.

As for the notion about Oscar being out of shape in early 2007, did you not see how in shape and motivated he was in his last fight after a year off?

If he wants the fight he'll take it when he's at 100% and no doubt will come in tip top shape.
