There simply wasn't any money in Sturm vs. Hopkins.
And they sure proved it... It was one of the highest grossing PPV's of all time... No doubt about it... pretty sad actually.

What if they gave Sturm an offer to go down, or pretend as if DLH is punishing him, then he agreed, but ignored it later.
    ok
so tha explains the DLH-Sturm fight being fixed

It might have been fixed, but I honestly doubt it...

Oh ****! I just woke the **** up. For some reason I thought it was about Sturm. Just ignore my previous post.

As far as DLH-Hopkins... It's possible that it was fixed for all the right reasons. It would build up Hopkins career, giving DLH a very good reason to go back to a lower weight class or possibly retire and be more of a buisness man.
Both now have a promising partnership and each made an assload of money that night.

The tagline for the night of DLH/B-Hop should have been...
        "Whoever Wins, We Lose"

The fight was a ****in fix man... it's easy to see that. DLH wanted Hopkins as his partner to bring in african american fighters so Golden Boy Promotions could have best of both worlds. In return Hopkins made DLH a deal that if he was to fight a mega fight with Hopkins to bring Bernard much needed revenue he would go ahead and join up. Easy as that!!!

I agree with you, if someone was supposed to take a dive it was supposed to be Bernard Hopkins, I'm sure Hopkins would KO DLH anytime they fight...
