Its not likely. The bout contract (with the purse amount) would have been filed with the commission in advance, and if the promoter tried to short him money the commission would step in and possibly go after the promoters surety bond.

That being said, the rules are only as strong as the particular commission enforcing them. I have no history with the Minnesota commission so I do not know how they would proceed.....

Don't know if I believe Harper but he does spar with Wilder so I don't think it's because he fears Ajagda

Harper said he was offered $6,000 in a NON-TV deal that never included medical. He claims that he walked into a TV deal worth more than $6,000 and one of the people that talked him into the deal was in the opponents corner. Basically thought he got screwed.
