Take a look at his record and take away his “name”. What about that resume makes you think he can get back to being p4p? What makes you think he ever was?
He’s a great personality. He has God given athletic abilities. Had he laid the foundation for success this wouldn’t even be a question. But he didn’t. Sure he can rededicate himself and take it all seriously but it’s an uphill climb he probably won’t make.
Can he get more paydays? Yes
Could he win another title? Yes
Will he ever be a guy “thee” guy in a division? No
Will he ever be P4P? NoComment

He is actually a far better fighter when he comes forward and gets aggressive up close. Far more effective. He tries to be some potshotting defensive wizard and he isn't.
He looks quality when he decides to let his hands go, which is rarely.
I think he tries to be the fighter he'd like to be, rather than doing what works best for him.Last edited by TheBigLug; 08-27-2018, 10:06 PM.Comment

Nothing. He isn't good enough to beat anyone at the top of their division. He doesn't listen to trainers, doesn't trust in his second wind which is why he never lets his hands go, doesn't have the ring IQ to make adjustments. Mental midget all the way. He'll continue to beat the Theophanes of the world but lose to anyone goodComment

When Broner beat Paulie and held the 147 and 135 titles at the same time right before Maidana he was on many peoples top 20 to top 15 list.He gets people talking because of his antics outside the ring not because of anything special he has done inside the ring. As far as him getting back to the top p4p list that's impossible. You can't get "back" to a place you never were. Broner was never even close to being on most top 10 pfp best lists. If he was on your pfp list then your list is unusual but it's your list and your right to put him as high as you want. I don't think he ever was a top 10 pfp on any lists like Ring, ESPN,Boxrec, Boxing Scene etc. To become relevant again he must clearly beat a top 5 world rated boxer and he keeps failing to do so.Comment

Who would you think would take the W between Broner and Jeff Horn??He gets people talking because of his antics outside the ring not because of anything special he has done inside the ring.
