Why is Canelo allowed to use a beard on fight night?

I read here that many states prohibit it since it can cushion punches or reduce the strength of the punch by ejecting the punch away from the face.

Will he be using that **** again?

A beard is not a cushion lol wtf. His isn’t even that big. It’s basically stubble if you think a little facial hair will reduce punch strength you’re a moron

I think Vegas doesn't really enforce the beard rule too much like they do in NYC and other states.

I think the regulation is against beards that will cushion, stubble will be OK.

              Not allowed Afros either.

Canelo's "BEARD" absorbed the mighty GEE's punches that split seas, smash mountains & folds mid-card fighters like nothing.

has nothing to do with cushion. A fighters jaw must be visible to the judges. Stubble from a beard can also cause infections to cuts, not to mention making cuts less visible to judges.

So that's the reason behind the beard rule. I was surprised Fury got to fight with such a huge beard. It seems sometimes the rule is enforced, sometimes it's not.

A beard cant stop a punch man, they dont allow big beards so they dont get in the other fighters faces
