It's funny you say that because Fat Dan is constantly insulting pro boxers. Calling him fat is the minimum that he deserves.

Ward fouled him and the ref awarded Ward the fight for blasting him in the nuts several times. Meanwhile Kovalev will be fighting for a world title while the younger Ward retired last year. Ward did not break Kovalev. It was Alvarez who scored a clean legal KO over Kovalev not Ward. If Kovalev wins the rematch he would welcome a third fight with Ward.

Ward definitively broke his will and made him doubt himself, no doubt. Alvarez did score a clean legal KO on him yes, but it was Ward who made him look human and beatable to begin with. Questionable shots or not, Ward was going to win that second fight. The first fight I had Kovalev clearly winning but his spirit was broken in those two fights.
