A lot of fans give Ortiz more credit than he is due. I’ve been on record stating he is over rated. He is over rated and he is exactly what his record suggests. He doesn’t win the big fights and that will ultimately define his career.

Ortiz comes up short against Marcos Maidana despite having him down twice in that fight. He fights to a draw against Lamont Peterson despite having him down twice in their fight. He intentionally head butts Floyd and then fails to protect himself and gets cold ****ed to lose that fight. Then he loses back to back fights against Josesito Lopez and Luis Collazo. After beating Berto in their 1st fight, he loses the 2nd fight despite having Berto down in that fight. He fights to a draw against Devon Alexander.

His best wins are against Andre Berto, Antonio Diaz, Vivian Harris and Nate Campbell. VERY OVER RATED!!
