    IV's rule. If you dehydrate to nothing, just pop in an IV and you'll be solid for the fight. Not even kidding. You fight at 147, just weight 167 the day before and sauna jog and stuff and get to 147. Then right after weigh in take the IV. It's not even fair.

      That website is just trying to sell you IV vitamin bags. It's all bull**** marketing. The scientific consensus and WADA's view is that iv infusion use is no better that oral hydration.

      The use of IV infusions in sport is commonly linked with rehydration after exhaustive effort, and this situation is arguably the major cause of debate. It must be understood that the use of IV fluid replacement following exercise and/or acute weight reduction to correct mild to moderate dehydration is not clinically indicated nor substantiated by the medical literature. There is a well-established body of scientific evidence to confirm that oral rehydration is the preferred the****utic choice, potentially even more effective than IV infusion.
      IVs aren't banned because they have magical performance properties.

      IV infusions are included on the Prohibited List mainly because some athletes could use
      this Prohibited Method to:

      a) enhance their performance by increasing plasma volume levels;
      b) mask the use of a Prohibited Substance;
      c) distort the values of their Athlete Biological Passport

            I went over this when I broke the IV story before Thomas Hauser stole my scoop a few months later. BWAA owes me an award.

              When you have to bump your own thread 5x in a row, it means you have no credibility and you aren't changing anyone's mind. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Go ahead and rage now. I won't be back to read it.

                  © 2018 CIRCLE OF LIFE FAMILY MEDICINE. As an athlete you know all to well, the discipline it takes to stay fit and healthy. After strenuous long training and events your muscles can become extremely sore and your energy gets completely zapped. IV vitamin therapy can help the stress on your body in multiple ways:
                  Aiding cellular tissue repair
                  Boost performance and energy
                  Replenishing higher nutritional demands
                  Reduce fatigue and shorten recovery time
                  By providing your body with the correct nutrients directly into the bloodstream you can reap all of these benefits with IV vitamin therapy. One of the most popular IV treatments is the “Myer’s ****tail”, a mixture of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. It can also be tailored more specific to your needs by adding in other nutrients such as Amino Acids, Glutathione, Adrenal Cortical Extract or Folic acid.
                  Sweating is all apart of our bodies natural detoxification system, but you are also losing fluids and water-soluble B vitamins. They are your body’s natural energy boosters. If you’re training for a few hours multiple days a week, your B vitamins are getting very depleted.
                  Calcium and Magnesium are used in the ****tail to carry more oxygen to the blood vessels helping with muscle fatigue and cramping. And of course, vitamin C one of nature’s most powerful vitamins, increases and restores energy levels along with other health advantages.
                  Using IV vitamins vs. supplements are more reliable, because they are going straight into the bloodstream and there is no risk of improper absorption. Rehydrate, maintain your energy levels, restore electrolyte balance and enhance your stamina and performance all with IV vitamin Therapy!

                    Dude, you're just quoting marketing literature. None of it is based on scientific studies.
