There sure are a lot of emotionally fragile people on here. Jesus Christ. What kind of moron interprets, "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. And some, I assume, are good people.”, as an attack on ALL Mexicans? There have been dozens of stories about massive amounts of drugs seized at the border, the murders committed by illegal aliens, and according to the Huffington Post (aka the ***** ass-kissing website) 80% of Central American Women and Girls are ****D Crossing into the U.S. where in the article it states:

So Trump's statements have been proven RIGHT, and there's plenty of evidence to back him up. But I guess when you're bold enough to speak the truth bluntly in a society softened by 8 years of political correctness, overreactions were to be expected. Beltran claiming Mexicans, "...don't take advantage of the laws of this great nation" might be true about Mexicans who LEGALLY enter the U.S. but the illegal ones.... that's a different story.

From being African-American and living in Oakland most of my life, I've learned that most people are more concerned with keeping up appearances than actually fixing problems, and citing the problems and asking people to have accountability for them makes you a traitor because you're supposed to just blame whitey/the system. Latino people are doing the same thing right now, as are women, LGBT people, and all of these fringe cultures of people being told that they are victims by the media.

Even if everything you said was right, it still doesn't excuse the rhetoric. There are always going to be some criminal elements in every group of people. Why would he only single out the criminals when it's obvious that's the minority of immigrants? According to him every immigrant is a member of MS-13. There are plenty more good people (including the ones that happen to cross illegally) than criminals. Unless he was trying to generate fear of "others" there would be no reason to start a presidential bid on that message. Only weak minded morons would believe the monority of criminals outweigh the good immigrants coming here for a better life.

He didn't clarify anything by assuming "some are good people." That's like saying "I assume you're not a child ******er."

Btw, everyone is against "illegal" immigration. Some people are against all immigration. Go back in history and find that every immigrant group was targetted as "criminals" by people that simply didn't want them to assimilate in the country.
