If Whyte doesn't take this fight he's ducking Wilder.

Ortiz did mention that he had punched himself out and was gassed more than anything. Though perhaps you would expect him to say that.

On Wilder - Fury PPV undercard:
Whyte - Breazeale
Ortiz - Parker
To settle who's fought the better opposition. But realistically, Whyte will be holding out for an April fight with Joshua.
On free Showtime in 2019:
The winner of Whyte - Breazeale fight the winner of Wilder - Fury for WBC mandatory
The winner of Ortiz - Parker fight the loser of Wilder - Fury
The losers of the PPV undercards fight each other
On next PPV in 2019:
Wilder - Fury rematch if they both win on Showtime
Any combination of Ortiz, Parker, Whyte, Breazeale
2020 PPV:
50/50 Undisputed with JoshuaLast edited by davefromvancouv; 08-26-2018, 11:41 AM.Comment

If he doesn’t take the fight he obviously fears Breazeale which I very much doubt or he can’t be asked to go down the WBC route. However, as for him being scared of Wilder how can he be when he has offered 5 million to Wilder to face him earlier this year and that offer has been raised to 7/8 million only a month ago. Don’t get me wrong Wilder will blast him out of the ring but as for him ducking Wilder there isn’t a heavyweight that has made his feelings more known than Whyte.Comment

Ortiz would KO either Whyte or Breazeale. Whyte would start crying again if they wanted him to fight Ortiz.
Breazeale should rematch Mansour, who even as a small old man beat him in every round before it was stopped due to injury.
Whyte should rematch Chisora, where many saw Chisora winning that fight.
All of the above are basically gatekeepers, other than Ortiz imo.Comment

Whyte is a scrub who practically got KOd in his last fight, hometown ref helped him at crucial times
Breazeale is just as tough but he's big and strong and long, he should be able to smash him up and take his spot as Eddie Hearn appointed gatekeeper
Which would be cool, I like Breazeale
Whyte is no gatekeeper, he's a legit contender after his good win over Parker. He's done more than Wilder and Ortiz, that's for sure.
Whyte beats Brezeale. If the fight comes off you'll only have more excuses for why Whyte won and contradict yourself when judging Brezeale. Now he's tough who will win, after he's a bum with a glass jaw. I know you Wilder fans, you're all full of ****.Comment
