Comments Thread For: George Groves: I Feel Like I'm in The Form of My Life

George Groves believes he is "boxing better than ever" ahead of his WBA super-middleweight title defence against Callum Smith in the World Boxing Super Series. Groves, 30, has seen off Jamie Cox and Chris Eubank Jr. on his way to the final of the tournament, where Smith awaits in Jeddah.

I think Groves is a complete fighter now..... that comes down to experience and gelling with the right trainer.

I think he beats Smith convincingly and goes onto unify another title. WBA super, ring magazine and Ali trophy, Groves really done well after his setbacks.

He's a solid world class fighter for sure. Even the very worst version of him under Fitzpatrick only lost a SD to Jack in Vegas, and that didn't even look like Groves in there. He was really sluggish and awful under Fitzpatrick. This version of Groves would've beaten Badou Jack that night.

He gave Froch an awful night in their first fight too, even though he was still a bit green then.

I think he's been a bit underrated in his career because things got a bit stale between leaving Booth and working with McGuigan. Not saying he's an elite p4p fighter, but he's a very good world level fighter.
