Dan Rafael says Fury getting cold feet

Stephen M (Lafayette, IN) [via mobile]
Do you give Fury a legit chance against Wilder? I can see him winning a boring decision but also Wilder decapitating him

Dan Rafael, King Fight Freak 12:01 PM ET
I think you have to make Wilder the favorite but can Fury win? Sure. But the latest from Fury's team is that he is now apparently balking at the fight. I was told that yesterday by a member of his management team.

I really hope Fury postpones and takes one or two more. He's clearly not ready for it.

      It's clear as day.

There's no way Fury would back out now. That would kill all momentum for British Boxing.

If thats the issue they should just switch them, Garcia and Spence sound ready to go. Let Fury have another tune up, do it beginning of 2019.

Can't see why a reputable member of Fury's management would be going to Dan Rafael, talking about the fight. MTK are there to protect their fighter and business. Anybody there working closely on the fight is unlikely to be talking to Fat Dan saying that Fury is backing out.

I once talked to someone that worked with Haye's promotion company doing PR, they said that Haye v Wilder was a done deal about two years ago. Turned out to be nonsense

was it really someone in the know, or just one of the many many people involved with MTK pretending that they know something?

Big shock. He made up a fake injury to get out of the Klitschko rematch. He might pull the same thing here.

I saw this and was very upset. The fact is the fight isn't signed and until it is we should all be worried it will not go.

Unless he spoke to Fury, his dad, or his trainer, I'd take that with a pinch of salt. If he does pull out, I hope he's honest and say he's not ready rather than make up some fake injury.
