Canelo has respectable power but he doesn't have the mentality to press GGG like Vanes did.

i also remember how Kovalev got stunned by a Jab from Shabranskyy prior to getting KO'd by Eleider Alvarez. Maybe that was a sign that sergeys punch resistance was declining.
Because lets be honest, no one on here was really expecting Kovalev to get dropped 3 times and stopped by Eleider. Kovalev was 35, Golovkin is 36. If this is a real sign then Golovkin is in real trouble...doesnt look good to me.

      My prediction:
      Canelo fans listen up

Canelo punch resistance might very well be dwindling.

It's funny that you post this because I had a nightmare last night that Golovkin got knocked out and it felt vivid. Like in my dream I was talking to my dad about how the signs were the etc. At almost 37 He is definitely on the decline, thats why clenelo waited, but I believe he still has enough to KO Canelo.

was GGG even rocked by a jab? He took a stiff jab and went back to reset himself. It happens all the time. People say he was stunned a bit by Kassim Ouma too, well that was 7 years ago and he still hasn't ever been dropped.
Golovkin was stunned by that jab. Vanes was throwing pretty hard in the first and I think the pop on that jab stunned him.

He recovered quick and further resolved to take Vanes out. Came out throwing heat missiles in the second. But that’s a pattern I’m seeing with him. Whenever a shot bothers him, he regroups and comes back harder.

I’ve always wondered what would happen if he faced someone with a defense good enough to stifle that recovery attack. How would his stamina hold up late?

Canelo showed flashes of it and I think Golovkin recognized the danger of falling in that trap. He was tentative on a lot of his power shots.

GGG is declining but is still formidable. If Canelo stands his ground a little more and work downstairs, we’ll get the answer to that question.

I always wondered how Ward would cope with being put on an even playing field when fighting a top fighter without judges and referees being paid off in his favour, unfortunately we never really got to see that.

Why is it whenever someone lands a punch on golovkin people say he was rocked?

                Crooked

Canelo fans should be more worried that this time there might be three "honest" judges. Look back on Canelo's career and ask yourself. How many losses would Canelo really have if not for the help of some bail out scoring? Guess with the loss of the "special mexican meat" in the Canelo camp kitchen there will be a perfect excuse when Canelo loses. " If only he could get the same three judges form the first fight or even the three blind judges who scored his fight against Mayweather where he lost every round in the ring but not on the scorecards. He's half talent, half invention

You could make decent arguments for GGG's decline and Canelo's odds for winning but this is just ******ed lol

Perfect. Thanks. I agree completely. There was no staggering from a Vanes jab. Kovalev was caught with a terrific punch that would have dropped him and badly hurt him at any time in his career. The thread starter wants a Canelo KO win so he comes up with this BS to convince himself and others that Canelo will get the KO. My guess is GGG's legendary chin is as strong as ever and if Canelo beats him it will be on points.
