Comments Thread For: Trainer: Canelo Will End Myth By Beating 'Very Basic' Golovkin!

Canelo Alvarez won't have fought in almost exactly a year when he enters the ring for his rematch against Gennady Golovkin next month. Alvarez's trainers, Eddy Reynoso and Jose "Chepo" Reynoso, don't think their fighter's long layoff will adversely affect the Mexican icon when he squares off with the 36-year-old defending middleweight champion for the second time. In fact, they expect the 28-year-old Alvarez to be better and sharper in just his second fight at the middleweight limit of 160 pounds.

In round 1 of the Floyd vs Nelo fight, Floyd was the aggressor and ruined Nelo's game plan. If Nelo comes straight to GGG in round 1, he'd ruin his game plan, then he can cruise through the rest of the fight.

Why he didn't do it in the first fight to beat the basic GGG?

false, Canelo's genius trainers thought it'd be a good idea to try & out box mayweather. One of the worst decisions & game plans in the history of boxing in a big fight.

I suppose he could. He is already up by at least 118-110 on one of the scorecards, even on the other.

I think GGG will outbox Canelo using his jab to set up powerful combinations and body work. He has the reach, a better jab, and more power.

WRONG! GGG wins by KO in the later rounds.

                    WRONG!!!

GGG never staggered Canelo in the first fight with his punches.
Canelo will outbox him to win.
