British fighters don’t lose their fans if they lose. Casing points, Froch post Kessler and Ward, Hatton post Mayweather, Bruno being one of the most beloved ex sportsmen in Britain, alongside Benn, Eubank Snr, Henry Cooper etc... if anything brits tend to warm to fighters after a loss.
Wrong. Those fighters were shunned after their undisputable losses. You abandon your fighters and jump back on the bandwagon when they show life again. And don't worry, boxing in general is petty bad about this in general. But Brits are over the top both ways and are the worst. I remember not too long ago everyone had sh@t on Fury and now they're backing him again. That's how it works.

I am interested more on the PPV buys than the fight...

Don't worry Haye. There are more true boxing fans who respect Fury's decision than the armchairs who criticize him. Fury thinks that he can win and I do to. I won't be rooting for him, but if he wins he will have my utmost respect.

Shunned? Hatton’s next fight after Mayweather, in front of 55000 people at the City of Manchester stadium.

Froch after Ward, sold out arena, 10000 people.

Jesus man, people still cheer David Price! People kept on turning up to see Audley Harrison! Look how happy fans were for Dave Allen, look how much we cheer for Chisora...

If you want a stick to beat the British with, abandonment is not the one. If anything, our love of losers and hatred for successful people is ingrained in the national psyche - and is probably one of the oddest things about us.

They both were fighting away from home for several fights and then came back home or comebacks where they are still draws. What do you expect attendance to be exactly?

And the 2nd parts you're right about. I won't argue that. But Haye is trash to brits now and so was Khan for a time, so was Froch at times and so was Fury. Joshua is the big dog now and will be abandon as soon as he loses luster. There's no dis*****g facts.

Fury will get more credit for his quick comeback than Ali did.
Fury was more out of shape than Ali.
I will kiss fury butt if he can beat wilder as fury doesn't think he got enough love for win over wlad

I’m not sure why what I expect the attendance to be has any bearing. You’re saying that the British abandon fighters after a loss... the facts say in fights immediately after losses, British fighters have sold out arenas and stadiums... so that suggests otherwise doesn’t it?

I think you’re mistaking fighters being abandoned for losing, with fighters becoming unpopular because of their respective personalities.

Khan talks a lot of rubbish, is seen as avoiding the Brook fight and believing his own hype, chasing a Mayweather fight without deserving it etc.

Haye pulled out of a number of fights, hyped himself up against Klitschko then fought badly, had an undignified ruck with Chisora at a press conference and is a bit of a showpony chasing cash and pulling the wool over fans eyes (people still backed him even in the second Bellew fight though).

Fury is a ****phobic, misogynistic gypsy with an extremely abrasive, divisive personality that puts half the country off. (The other half love him). Still unbeaten so it’s hard to see how people will react if he loses - imagine many will be glad!

Froch has always been popular to my knowledge, he’s seen as a warrior who fought anyone. He only started to rub people up the wrong way when he started to mention 80000 people at every opportunity.
