Comments Thread For: Arum: Beltran, Pedraza Have Both Signed To Face Lomachenko

More than the WBO lightweight title is on the line when Ray Beltran makes the first defense of that belt against Jose Pedraza from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, California. The winner of the bout is already lined up for a unification with two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko, according to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes all three of the involved fighters.

If Pedraza beats Beltran impressively I say bring on the Loma fight

Beltran on the other hand would get worked quick. Horrible style match up for him.

Beltran is somehow the favorite in this fight and I don't see it at all. He looked terrible in his last fight and is slowing down. Pedraza is overall a pretty good fighter actually and should win.

Any unification fight is a good fight, even if it's a mismatch.

Get rid of all these fake champions.

Do you know who else set up garbage fights like this? Haymon, Golden Boy, Matchroom, Dibella, Tom Loeffler, etc.

Good fights either way but I would prefer Beltran.

I can't see either fighter beating Loma. But, I would hope Beltran wins and goes on to face Loma. If he can have a solid performance he deserves the payday.
