I don't think I've ever disliked a person in boxing more then Abel Sanchez, and I really can't put my finger on why. Everything about him just screams "phony" to me.

I don't think I've ever disliked a person in boxing more then Abel Sanchez, and I really can't put my finger on why. Everything about him just screams "phony" to me.

idk why ppl dislike abel. some ppl say they hate him, but then say they can't explain why.
that thinking seems flawed to me, but oh well, its the way of the world. not only is abel being truthful, canelo also was running. yes he was boxing good too, but there were so many times during the fight where i could hear georgie benton's voice when he was warning meldrick taylor during the 1st chavez fight, saying, "don't let him put you in flight". he used his legs a bit too much. it was a fight to survive strategy more than it was a fight to win strategy.

Difference is Taylor was the bigger man in that fight. Chavez, the puncher, was coming up in weight. In this fight, the boxer is coming up in weight.

Straight racial profiling. Only black fighters like Leonard, Ali, Mayweather, and Whitaker can box and be elusive. Mexican fighters are supposed to be ****** come foward, plodding hit and be hit guys. ODLH won more enough rounds to have decisioned Trinidad but was punished and robbed by judges because he thought it was a boxing match. Now Canelo is facing similar fate. Bottom line Canelo is a better boxer than GGG and should be able to exact his style and not be forced to fight a ****** style fight by ****** fans and an average trainer like Sanchez.

Running... please. Abel Sanchez is the king of excuses. That's all that is. Another excuse for GGG. Abel Sanchez is looked at like an ignorant frat boy. The dude is obviously racist with the whole "black fighters don't sell" ignorance. And you don't understand why at least a portion of the population doesn't like him? I guess it's just the world we live in today. And could the article get any more biased? What's up with that?
