Abel's is just pumping the fight up and trying to get Canelo to fight toe to toe. He thinks this works in Golovkin's favor. Also he is playing it up to the public. I do not think Canelo ran. Yes he was fighting backing up but he wasn't running (like Lara did, who I might add I think should have done no worse than a draw). For a lot of fans, probably even most, Canelo did look like he was avoiding a battle way too often. That is especially true with the casual fan. It was also a shock for them to see Canelo fight in a style he never did before.

But that is all water over the dam. I do hope Canelo stays in the pocket more often so like most fans want we see more action. But if he doesn't Golovkin has to do a better job cutting the ring off. Should be interesting to see.

Crawford I can support. He's not an entitled boxer who has been given help from the judges continuously like Canelo and unlike Canelo who benefits from having a built in fan base just because he's Mexican, Crawford had to earn his place in boxing. He's a black American from Nebraska. Not the most marketable scenario when it comes to boxing and despite that, his talent and talent alone is what has him at the top of boxing p4p lists. Can't say the same about Canelo.

I agree. Crawford is in another league than Canelo as far as class and respectability is concerned. The hot headed ginger is really coming out in Canelo now that he's been exposed. The guy is having a hissy fit when he only has himself to blame for the criticism he has received. Test negative and prove your doubters and skeptics wrong in the rematch Canelo. That's your only chance at redemption.

There's so much bias on both sides on this site it's astounding. In reality it was a close fight that GGG should've won 7-5. The large majority of ringside views saw it this way. There's no way in hell it was a whitewash either way. A lot of the delusional fans here on both sides refuse to give the other guy credit because they are dedicated cheerleaders until the end.

Canelo rounds 1-3, 10, 12. Have GGG 11 but that was 50/50 so can see a draw. My problem is when ppl are giving GGG 8, 9, 10+ rounds???

They're really going out of their way and giving GGG every benefit of doubt with 8. 9 or more they're just trolling and wasting everyones time...
