Pretty much this plus like another poster said he fights that way because he doesn’t know how to fight any other way. Not really a knock on him cause it’s worked so far in his career I would just like to see a little adjustments on his part he doesn’t have to turn into Floyd or jmm

Floyd fan boys don’t get that he wasn’t sh it before Oscar made him a ppv Star. They give Floyd all the credit but fail to see it was Oscar who catapulted him into super stardom

I think he uses Mexican style just to get those fans behind him, his style is more seek and destroy while not moving your head very much. Seems to work for him and its entertaining.

unlike other fighters milking the catch weights to become champions fighting at 155-154 157! not only is the competition inferior but he also has to drain them! so much for a champion! than vacates to avoid GGG! if you consider GGG opponents inferiors! than what do you call the following... @ catch weights>?
chavez jr. , liam smith, amir khan, james Kirkland, angulo!!!! what do you call them? superior?
all the above drained to the bone! compliment of you know who.....
          Khan = Brook
Smith > Vanes. He had a belt and wasnt retired. Plus it gave him options as Saunders Mando. I would put Smith the betting favorite against a 2 year retired guy.

Angulo KTFO of a guy in 1 round that beat one of GGG's top 3 wins.

GGG nickname is "Anyone from 154-168" doe.

I'm all for entertaining fans and I like Golovkin's style, but for him to act like he doesn't fight very conservative against powerful punchers is pure BS. It's fine to fight like that. Smart even. But let's not say switching like that is for fans.

But let's be real here.. Aside from Canelo and Jacobs who has Triple g really fought?? Yes alot of fighters avoided him but at the same time he avoided certain fighters. You do remember "Anyone from 154-168 right"?? We both know what happened when Andre Ward came calling after that...
You're right, he's not gonna win every second of every fight but I feel his record is padded and most of the fighters he fought weren't on his level and therefore were there to make Triple g look good. They weren't expected to win and nobody gave them much of a chance of winning. That speaks for itself.
What I'm trying to say is I don't think Triple g is that good defensively.
Offensively he's a beast, can't deny that. But I feel that his offense is his defense! He overwhelms opponents to the point where their intimidated to throw punches once Triple g is on them and throwing bombs their way.
But we saw when he fought Jacobs and Canelo that wasn't the case. He was afraid to get countered by Canelo and therefore he didn't land as many power shots as we're used to seeing him land on opponents.
                That's all I'm saying.
But you said it, the rematch is only a month away. It's a great fight that either fighter can win but I'm sticking with Canelo.
Different strokes for different folks. Hopefully both guys display all their skills and nothing gets left on the table. I'm not going to get into the Ward situation it's been done to death.

Fair enough. I see this fight being much more physical than the first one. Wouldn't surprise me to see both guys get dropped in the fight.
I know Alot of people say Canelo hit Triple g with everything he had and triple g still kept coming at Canelo... I won't dispute any of that..
But at the end of the day Triple g is still a man just like you and me and every man is capable of being dropped /knocked out if he gets hit on the right spot at the right time...

Canelo by decision. Bet your soul. Your mama's soul, your children's souls. The soul of God. Whatever.

                    -- Golovkin is old.
-- Canelo has a damn solid chin
                    -- Canelo has slick moves
-- Judges love Canelo. God they love him

Is any other result possible? Technically, yes. But realistically, hell no.

Y’all musta forgot GGG had a newborn days before their first fight and he still had Canelo running 🏃🏿. That had to be a big distraction. I think he wipes the floor with Canela this time.
