It's pretty fascinating. I think Tyson Fury's return was the secret sauce in this whole thing. The UK fans knew AJ was starting to look bad in fights and then fans felt embarrassed that he ducked Wilder. Tyson Fury was the prefect escape route for the AJ fan (aka pro-UK fan). Crazy how they went from virtually worshiping him to not giving a *** about him fighting one of the better guys in the division.
That's the entrainment biz...
