Billy Joe Saunders would welcome the payday that would come with challenging Canelo Alvarez if Alvarez can beat Gennady Golovkin in their rematch next month. Saunders has long wanted the chance to beat Golovkin himself, yet doesn't deny the enticing economics of a fight against Alvarez. The brash British middleweight champion still wants Golovkin to knock out Alvarez when they fight again September 15 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (HBO Pay-Per-View).

Have to admit, Sanders is just a little salty that his fight against GGG was scratched. Of course he is going to root for GGG. But he should be rooting for Alvarez. Because a fight with him will draw way more money. And bad mouthing Alvarez won’t help get that fight. Keep your mouth shut. Now I am going to puke for defending Clenelo. LOL!!!

Canelo isn’t alone in being a convicted user though, is he? Ortiz, Povetkin, Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury, etc. Then again, I suppose he wasn’t asked about them..

On a side note, although Saunders throwing chicken has been my favourite boxing story of the last couple of years, the man himself the definition of a belt hostage taker; worse than Adonis Stevenson.
