I don’t see why not. Joshua would have almost 7 months to train and Wilder only around 5 months. Wilder is on record saying he would be willing to travel to Wembley and fight in April if he wins against Fury. There is no logical reason why that fight shouldn’t be made IF they both win their fights against two fighters most experts agree are the top heavyweights in the division outside of Joshua and Wilder. And Hearns and Warren should go back to the table and fairly compensate both fighters if they win. Wilder is a champion too, willing to travel to face Joshua. He deserves more money if he beats Fury, maybe not 50%, but more than offered before. Make the fight!

I beg to differ at the end of career of even now he can say he is the heavyweight champion of the world he will be in the history books not telling his grandkids during his boxing career he onced beat a fight called Luis Ortiz.

“ hey grandad who was Luis Ortiz. Was he a champion?”
“No Penelope but he was a good fighter”
If he was good he would have been champion. Why were you never a champion Grandad were you s#hit”
“No ***** I thought Luis Ortiz the boogeyman “

See I don’t want that scenario for ortiz

So like Wilder fought fat Stiverne 2, old man/PED cheat Ortiz and is about to fight Fury getting over a 3 year coke binge?

If he beats Luis Ortiz, he will have more stories to tell. If he doesn't, then he will be telling a different story:

"Grandad was almost a champion, but he ran into 2 very good fighters in Anthony Joshua and Luis Ortiz."

"However Grandad did win the British Heavyweight title in 2016!"

"No Penelope, I didn't beat Lennox Lewis, I beat Ian Lewison!"

Like Munroe jr . A good technician but finished. Of course him and Ortiz can still win fights but either are not in the top 4 fighters of their division in my opinion. He may be the best technician but tell me the best Technician thatis a CEO of his fate 😜

I’m reading a book where it states you can have great technician to run your company but they only capable of being told what to do they can never lead. For some reason I thought of technician and thought it would be a good idea to mention Ortiz
