Comments Thread For: Wilder: Once I Beat Fury, Fans Must Pressure Joshua To Fight Me

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is hoping that a victory over Tyson Fury will create a forceful demand for a full division unification with WBA, IBF, IBO, WBO champion Anthony Joshua. Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) is going to defend his title against Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) in the fall, likely on a November date in Las Vegas.

No the fans ...your delusional ones need to pressure you into stop demanding 50% .

If you beat Fury how difficult will you be then ? Your like an emotional woman now ?

The fans ( the real ones ) were telling you to sign the contract that you agreed to !

Hopefully once Wilder beats Fury, money wouldn't stop this fight from happening. I don't think Joshua needs any pressure at all. He seem keen for the fight if he beats Povetkin. So hopefully this fight comes off in April...

Ortiz....lolol . Ortiz is finished. He is a good technician but that’s it. I saw him fight Dave Allen. Absolute doo- doo, as for his fight against Malik Scott don’t remind me. He fought admirable against Wilder but Wilder always makes fighters look better than they are.

Ortiz vs Whyte..... Ortiz vs Joyce....... Ortiz vs Parker........ Ortiz vs Briggs that’s his level because of his age and heart problem. Nobody is ducking Ortiz. I actually think Povetkin would put Ortiz to sleep and I don’t even rate Povetkin

He didn’t avoid Ortiz this is false. Had Ortiz not popped dirty and lost to wilder he would be facing aj and not Povetkin. In aj’s 20 or so fights he’s fought most of the top contenders in his division. How many boxers have back to back unification fights with undefeated champions? Wilder was probably never going to happen next. Povetkin is the number 3 ranked hw in the world I’d hardly say he’s holding the fans to random. It’s not like he’s fighting Gerald Washington.

would u stop. ortiz is the best pure technician in the division and yes they offered him the deal after klitschko and then pulled out of the deal. comparing ortiz to parker or briggs is a joke. All you AJ fans are just butthurt as Fury and wilder are getting it on whereas Joshua is playing businessman with eddie. such a sad state of affairs for the heavyweight division when the so called champion, the golden goose wont take on allcomers..thats what real champions do!

AJ fans are delusional and emotionally unhinged. AJ fans are GGG fans, and I've been attacked by a few of the more rabid ones quite recently - they just don't know when to sit down and shut up, so they sink their claws in and throw their bloody tampons at you.

I want Wilder to beat AJ, but I'm conflicted. I really, really dislike AJ's fans but I'm not sure I want to see them commit mass suicide after he gets KOd. If the the UK government gave them free dental maybe they'd be much happier people and be more willing to smile, rather than hide their hideous UK teeth

Exactly what titles has he won, amateur or professional? Surely if he's the best technician he should have something to show for it?

If you can't answer, maybe you can list for me the top 15 fighters he has beaten? Surely the best technician has lots on his record?
