Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury May Train in Big Bear For Deontay Wilder Clash

Tyson Fury contacted Deontay Wilder directly to capitalise on the breakdown in negotiations for a fight between the American and Anthony Joshua and persuade him he instead should be his next opponent. The WBC heavyweight champion will next defend his title against Fury in Las Vegas in November. He travelled to Belfast to watch his rival defeat Francesco Pianeta at Windsor Park on Saturday, after which they confirmed their fight.

I keep seeing November as a date.

      I thought it was December?

People are saying November 17th but isn't that the same day Hearn has a DAZN card in Vegas?

First off, Hearn's card in Vegas is irrelevant. That card will be moved if if that is the day Wilder/Fury take place.

Second off, nothing is official but fair bet it takes place on either November 10 or 17. I think they prefer the 10th so they can schedule Spence vs Garcia in mid-December if they have to.

Wouldn't Hearn have venues and that booked?

Interesting how it unfolds I'd rather it be December but that's me.

Is Spence-Garcia looking likely to happen?

Spence vs Garcia does look likely to happen, yes.

Which venue has Hearn booked? Wilder/Fury will take place at the T-Mobile arena. I don't believe that venue is booked.

And Hearn was talking about his big November card before he got shut out from the guys he was after. He's not signing Mikey/Spence/Charlo Bros/Broner/Wilder/etc from now to November, so are we sure he even puts a card in Vegas in November?

                  Good points.

He seems to atleast think he's got one But maybe this spanner in the works changes that.

He wants Bellew-Usyk on Nov 10 too which would be PPV but if Fury-Wilder lands on the same date that will effect his PPV too.

There's a lot of conflict now in these next few months.

Hearn previously said he wants to do Khan-Brook PPV in december. What if Fury-Wilder lands in December?

It's all going on the sooner they announce it the better.

So what really happened to Wilder's mandatory fight with Breazeale?

Will it come on before Fury's fight?
