Comments Thread For: Fury: F***ing Great Performance; Crowd Loved Every Minute!

Tyson Fury took exception to criticism of his performance Saturday night in Belfast, Northern Ireland. When it was suggested to Fury that the way he boxed during his 10-round, unanimous-decision victory over Francesco Pianeta didn't exactly excite the capacity crowd at Windsor Park, an incredulous Fury disagreed.

Obviously a bunch of pissed up Irish are going to boo if they don't see a brutal KO. That's the problem with a lot of boxing 'fans' they can't appreciate the sweet science.

Hahaha this guy is entertaining af outside the ring. I’m sure he’d step it up against Wilder. Idk why people are criticizing him for taking the fight, if he fights low level pianettas they complain. If he fights the wbc champ they complain. So which really is it?
They say he’s rusty but at the same time complain that he didn’t get the KO? wth

Aren’t we supposed to be happy as fans that the HW division is again exciting, more than it has been for the last 2 decades?

Fury didn’t even get out of his first gear. It’s obvious he can land whenever he wants against Pianeta.
We can only hope for an exciting match come nov/dec.

I don’t think it was even that ... looked like fury was carrying Pianeta to the distance . He wasn’t putting any snap into any of his punches and when he did throw the odd hard punch he backed off

I would like to see how much tarmac / scrap metal money went down on the distance in the bookies

The crowd wanted a KO before the final bell. Fail.

I think he did carry him. Fury and his team are smart, why show Wilder all his cards?
