Then you'd be wrong. Nice of you to assume though.I doubt you would be saying this if Joshua was lined up to fight Fury next. After the Joshua/Parker fight, he was asked who he wanted to fight next, and he said "Wilder.... or Fury." Tyson Fury has massive boxing skills, and I'm sure he held back with his fight against Pianetta.
I've posted in enough threads about my thoughts on Fury's comeback path (or then rumoured path). Going way back before the Wilder fight was mentioned. I've been consistent on my thoughts in regards to Fury fighting any of the top guys too soon. I want to see him in the big fights and I want to see him do well, that's why I prefer the fight(s) not to be rushed.
EDIT : Actually here's one of my post (albeit a short one) in a thread about Joshua fighting Fury from a while back, from even before Wilder/Fury was rumoured I believe :
Well whaddya' know. I wasn't jumping at the chance for what I consider an ill prepared Fury to jump into the ring with Joshua.

Joshua was already a bigger name than wilder in his first pro fight and even if he loses multiple times to wilder aj will always be the bigger drawComment

There's a reason London isn't known as New Berlin...Stop it bro. If I was stopped by police in my car for Speeding in London and they keep me for longer than 3 minutes there is hell to pay because time is money. A routine stop and search in the states may result in a bullet caressing my brain so for that reason and that reason only I will have to disagree with your statement

Hearn and the Joshua camp has spent months discrediting Wilder. UK fans have been all good with that negativity, so let the man talk.I like Wilder but all this negative energy spent discrediting your rival is not cool and can be perceived as envious. Yes complain about the flat Fee, even complain that you think Joshua is scared but when you start now questioning his opponents and diminishing their abilities especially when you were in a position to fight that same man which your manager point blank said you are not ready you can not complain. Had you have fought him you yourself would be a superstar and you may have been offering Flat fees to Joshua and Fury. It’s too late to complain nowComment

Lololololol. I hear you but he is not in a position to criticise . I think he is in a good place now. He has Fury pencilled in. Focus on him then worry about Joshua and his opponents when you have both signed on the dotted line.Comment

Hearn tried to put the fight on DAZN, and that's why Wilder's team never signed.Let’s just keep it real from a business standpoint, there’s no American hype about the Povetkin fight next month, no one is speaking on it, American media isn’t covering it as of now, fury and wilder antics were on sportscenter
Wilder Joshua should have launched DAZN, it would have attracted a lot more subscribers open to the idea of trying out a new service with a big heavyweight showdown
Hearn May have missed the target from an American standpoint, now fury gets to make a big impression on America
And this fight is long overdue I’m happy it’s happening
And people are forgetting about rematch clauses, they will probably fight again in April lmaoooooo
Not saying they were wrong to not sign, but it is what it is. Wilder chose Showtime over a fight with AJ.Comment
