i wanted to say its a legitimate fight but i just cant...

i want to be able to give wilder credit for a good win but i just cant after last night. I dont want to sound like im making excuses but watching him last night its clear hes not the same guy.
He couldnt even get the world number 138 out of there, who safety pin johnson managed to. I dont care if hes not a KO puncher, he was stopping guys like that before and the snap and the pop in his punches has all but gone. Hes not the same fighter and people need to bare that in mind and face reality.
Beating someone whos come off a 10 stone weight loss fat camp does NOT make you top dog in the divison. Not even close.
People assumed it was a joke when the fight was first rumoured but the way opinion is changing on this forum youll be saying this fury is better than the version who fought wlad when it comes to fight night.
Can call me a hater but even the bookies have seen enough, wilders the favourite after last night. Stop being such fanboys and admit wilder is fighting a poor imitation of tyson fury.

Doesn't bother me, Fury wants his retirement payday, let him have it. Even if he ends up in hospital/coma like Briggs.

There are plenty of Fury fans who actually think he will win though. I'm guessing they'll have plenty of excuses after he gets knocked out. "Wilder would have never beaten the Fury who fought Klitschko doe..." Just like the Mike Tyson fans who swear that "Prime Mike" would have beaten every heavyweight ever.

But Takam went 12 with Arias 56-14, and Parker went 12 with Cojanu, Ruiz, Hughie..... and everyone gave Joshua credit!

        fanboy thread!

You keep forgetting this is precisely why this fight is happening.

I'll stamp my opinion in the ground right now.

Fury is back and last night proved that..... Fury was never in shape and is used to fighting out of shape and inactivity. This is the first time he has fought twice and trained this seriously before a big fight....

No excuses from me... Fury outboxes Wilder in every way, you will be shocked and Wilder is overrated.

Who are these Fury fans who think he's going to win? I've seen only two on here. Every other forum has Wilder as a huge favourite along with this one. And rightfully so considering how bad Fury looks against complete bums.

Have you lost your mind or something? Parker was fresh and in his prime. He wasn't coming back from 2 and a half years of obesity and drug addiction like Fury has. Fury has looked like **** against fighters not even worthy of being called bums, they were that bad.

If Fury fought against the Parker that fought Joshua, he's getting knocked out. And quickly. There is a reason why Fury fought guys on that level. It's because he isn't ready. It's nothing other than a cash-out against Wilder. Don't pretend otherwise.

Anybody that has followed Fury's career knows that he raises his game to the level of his opponent to beat them. It doesn't make for exciting fights at times but that's how he is. Calzaghe was quite similar, he could look fairly average against basic opposition and then comfortably beat the likes of Kessler when he needed.

You would be a fool to judge Fury on last nights performance alone. People said Wlad would kill Fury after Fury v Hammer, and then he raised his game again.

Is he back to his very best? not yet but i think he will be when it matters.
