His offense really is his defense, His movement creates the angles he needs for offense and defense

      Haven't see him against:

      1. A determined fighter who wanted to win

      and

      2. An elite fighter

Vastly overrated IMHO. Garcia wipes the floor with him. Again IMHO.

I think he takes their will to win away.

If Mayweather and Pacquaio had a child, it would be Lomachenko...

                What?

It could be argued that Garcia is the more classically skilled fighter....

Being more flashy doesn’t mean more skilled. There’s differing footwork and forms of defense/offense.

For me, personally, I think Garcia might be a little too skilled for Loma with the addition of a size/power advantage. Loma will overwhelm a lesser fighter but it’s not a coincidence his only loss came to the strongest willed fighter he’s fought.

We can say all we want about when it was, the cheating, yada yada but Salido made a tactical decision and at the end of the day, the books say Salido won. Loma hasnt been that diferent since, it’s just the quality of fighter and wills have been different.

I don’t see Loma having his way with Mikey just because of how good Mikey is. He’s not going to end up behind Mikey or in his blindspots and just catching Mikey being amateurish.

Mikey will be infront of him the entire time, in perfect balance, always ready to throw as he’s always shown against every single fighter from 126-140.

Loma is an animal, I don’t deny it and I’m a huge fan but I just don’t get the feeling he can do what he wants vs Mikey and Mikey hits too hard at 35. Loma gets hit with some really clean shots more often than we like to admit but he does get hit. His defense is great aside from his offense but his nature is to come forward and thats why we love him.

Despite that, it’s just a gut instinct I suppose. There are some guys who just stand their ground and are also incredibly sound/skilled. Mikey is that type. Mikey isnt getting outboxed, too high a level right now. If he loses it’s by KO.

Mikey has perfected a style that doesn't have many dimensions to it. He has great timing, great power, and patience but he is not outboxing Loma. You can bring up Salido fight all you want but Mikey fights nothing like Salido. You have no idea what you are talking about if you think Mikey can possibly win this on points without any knock downs. Loma is on a completely different level, the only way he loses is if Mikey catches him with something big and either knocks him down a couple times or knocks him out.

The bold: We have. He lost. Let's not forget journeyman Salido.
