  • Deontay Wilder can not beat Tyson Fury on points

Yes he can if he chooses too. Wilder has never been down on points in a fight. Its just that he always knocks people out instead of going the full rounds.

Fury is fighting in the US. If he thinks he can win by stalling and throwing the odd jab now and again like in the Wlad fight he's in for a rude awakening. Plus, Wilder isn't there to box anyway, and no way does Fury keep Wilder off for 12 rounds - he's skilled, but no Mayweather.

Fury ain't no Mayweather but Wilder ain't no Cotto, Pacquiao or Canelo.

Curious to see how Wilder fight on the front foot because Wilder will be the one looking for the other fighter.

Fury is the longer and slicker boxer, period

Wilder has been fighting shorter, heavier men coming forward, he waits for them to rush in and ices them with counters, Wilder always had power and reach over his opponents.

This time he will only have power.

I don't know where Fury stands but he will sure make Wilder look like a fool if the fight doesn't end too early.

Not that I'm very high about a semi active Fury but Wilder skills are that raw and too basics.

False. With bought judges he might not be down on cards but he was down on cards to most people against spilkza for example.

Thought he was down in the Ortiz fight?

Washington, spilkza and Ortiz most people had them ahead , judges didn't necessarily agree though.

I though he was, but not on the official cards.

Of course he can win on points, that's nonsensical, especially considering the fight will likely be on "home" territory for him (not that I'm suggesting a robbery will happen; just saying).

The idiots saying he can't win on points are the same type of people who said Maidana couldn't beat Broner on points. News flash: boxing is fought round by round. All he has to do is land an effective punch here and there and he'll win the round, and when you're as big of a puncher as Wilder you don't even need to land a flush shot for it to be effective. Maybe throw in a knock down or two and that's a wide points gap right there.

Tyson Fury is big and he's awkward with good upper body movement, but he's FAR from being too good to outbox. He barely scraped past Klitschko in a dreadful fight. A boxing masterclass it absolutely was not, contrary to what some people who would like to rewrite history would have you believe. This is a man who lost (unofficially) to John McDermott. A man who uppercutted himself in the face for crying out loud. I like Fury, he's a decent boxer with good movement for a man his size, but the second coming of Ali he is not.
