By all accounts, Wilder will not meet $15m from the first fight. This means that he is banking on a rematch win or lose. Against a fighter who has not fought a top contender in over 3 years, who has lost 140lbs and seems to be a shell of the fighter he once was.

Instead of fighting for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world?

Come on, how can you excuse that BS.
There are no excuses but certain fans on here, especially black fans ,will do anything to defend black fighters from the US.

On the basis of Fury's absence of power, the PPV is going to bomb. I can see Fury winning a borefest against Beyonce who is not a pressure fighter. Ironically, I'd give Beyonce more of a chance against AJ than Fury. Though AJ is favourite againat both.

Wilder wont make his finances public bc he knows it will show he ducked Joshua , but if Fury is taking less who knows what Wilder is making ?

My guess is they will wait after the fight to make anything public , if Fury wins Wilder stock plummets but i cant see how this fight INCLUDING a second one does not get him 15 Million ?

If Wilder cant generate 15 Million in two fights against another undefeated HW thats the biggest piss poor job i will have seen ever . lol

Again Wilder has no excuses no matter what he makes bc he avoided a undisputed fight where he COULD have had the opportunity to make 65 Million total , hes not going anywhere near those numbers with Fury .

Yet these clowns talk about Joshua turning down money ?
        lol exactly

And I didnt know you meant that Wilder could make $15 mill across two fights...that may happen, but it depends on how big the current purse split is AND THEN how much PPV does. I doubt the latter makes any splash.

Thats my point. "Eddie says" has become a thing to take the piss out of Brits with. If it suits people though its fine to use what Eddie says is facts. When the chances are Hearn was doing one of his "if I was promoting this fight theyd be making $10-15mil"

I've made the point before but i don't understand how it's not considered a cherry pick, he's fighting someone coming off the back of fighting the world number 138 for almost half the money of the 15 mill that team Joshua offered him. If he can't make much in his own country against fury i don't understand how on earth he thinks he deserves more than 15 mill against Joshua.

Like I mentioned in my other posts, they'd be better off financially doing this fight in Europe, which has become the home of heavy weight divisions.
Not to mention the 5-6 hour difference.

IFL interview, last week maybe. Tried to find it, wasnt on the one I was thinking. Too many and too ****ing long for me to go hunting for the right one on a Sunday.

Prediction is a sellout stadium and total global PPv buy of 1.5m
