But if the PPV does 300k buys in the states, 500k buys in the UK and 4-5 million live gate? That's a financial success, not a flop.
The way it works with casinos is they will pay probaby $8-10M for a site fee if they think they can recoup $4-5M at the gate — they’ll make way more than that off the ******** and people filling hotel rooms and eating and going to shows, etc.

So the actual gate won’t go to the promotion, it will go to the casino that pays the site fee. The site fee will go to the promotion.

Fury did well putting butts in seats in his last fight though no? But it will be interesting to see how many Brits make their way for the fight. Wilder has shown he can sell as he did great numbers vs Ortiz and had 14k at the Barclays. Different type of pricing in Vegas though.
I.. never said it isn't? You are literally arguing a point I didn't even make. It's about as obvious as you like that it's important that a fight based in the US sells to the US audiences.

Still think half a million people watching BT Sport PPV at 4am for Tyson Fury is optimistic.

            Who cares?

If Vegas and Showtime want to put up the guarantees necessary to make the fight happen, good for them. Now we get to enjoy the fight.

He’s gotta have the worst body in the history of the sport, atleast a guy like butterbean was all around fat Fury has such an awkward body.
He makes it work though. He's still light on his feet compared to the other heavy weights. Offensively however I didn't see anything that was gonna discourage Deontay, but we'll see.

                Just watched the fight
Get the feeling Wilder vs Fury will be cat and mouse
Fury will not exchange , keep it on the outside and try to get that decision
Now can Wilder catch him , he does look light on his feet Fury
Leaning towards a bor fest of a fight imo
But will probably sell well on both sides of the pond
Nothing gets casuals more excited than the Heavyweights

He is light on his feet , that’s for sure but weird fughin everything about him
The way he fights , he just looks awkward
I find his upper body does not suit the lower part
                  Kind of mechanical

I don`t care about financial part. Fury will just beat Wilder and retire him.

Outside of Canelo/GGG 2 or Wilder/AJ should not be on PPV anyways
