The bolded probably has something to do with it, but you have to remember that Klitschko sparred both. And only one of them got sent back home because he was too weak and was getting knocked out left and right.
His comment on Wilder was regarding tactics, his comment on Joshua was a preference, but he didn't mention anything about his tactics in the ring, nor which one was better in the ring.

i personally think joshua will find a way to win the wilder fight, i see him as the better boxer and with a good gameplan and the ref and judges lets say 'not hostile' to him, its all there for him, both guys will be tested in that fight, it will be edge of the seat stuff when it happens, hopefully next april

Actually you can't know that until the fight is made and the bets are made. It will be interesting I think.

Basically more of the same. I get it though! If I were Wlad, I would feel the same! I know he really doesn't want to see AJ lose to Povetkin! That would be the worst possible outcome! I would love to hear his opinions on Joshua vs. Fury!

Klitschko was asked for his opinion on a potential fight between the two undefeated world champions.

"They are completely different fighters. I know both of them. They were both at my training camp. We spent a lot of time with each other. They are completely different fighters," Klitschko told BBC.

"It's very difficult to calculate where Deontay Wilder's punches are coming from. But the strength, the core, the foundation that Anthony Joshua has, in addition to being an Olympic champion, and he has the great amateur experience that Wilder does not have. I'll be happy, super happy if I'm able to see him (Anthony Joshua) succeed. I told him 'the more you shine, the more I shine."

Klitchko also said that if Joshua fought Wilder he would have a "bad" life. What exactly that means for Joshua, I don't know but it doesn't sound good.

The thing is though, Klitchko is tiptoeing in choice of words. Certainly Anthony Joshua is capable of unifying the division but Wilder is Capable also. In fact Fury may show us he is also capable. Klitchko is suggesting only the possible, not the probable.

I read that as he hopes that Joshua will win. I don't think he actually made a prediction either way.

Actually i can bet my LIFE that anthony joshua is the betting favourite. Facts and statistics say joshua has a better resume, 3 major belts ,has been fighting the higher level of competition consistently and is just considered the more well rounded fighter.
