Comments Thread For: Jason Quigley Feels Ready To Face Ryota Murata For WBA Strap

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum recently advised BoxingScene.com that he intends to match WBA "regular" middleweight champion Ryota Murata against undefeated contender Jason Quigley (14-0, 11 KOs). Arum is targeting the date of October 20 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Took him out of there?! What was this guy watching? Anyways lightning wont strike twice! The WBA wont be forced to sanction Murata vs. Quigly for the 'Regular' middleweight title -- rules are rules ; Rob Brant is ahead of you chump!

The WBA strap won't be in play if this fight happens. This isn't the WBO, they won't just bend over for Arum and let him do what he wants.

      Or will they?

Good, I hope this fight happens. Murata can tell the WBA to **** off with their "regular title" bull****. How can you set mandatories for a fake championship anyway. The WBA is a disgrace.

They should strip him right away and let Brant get something set up with Papot or whoever is willing to fight him in the rankings. Regular title doesn't mean much anyway.
