Unbelievable the crap Hearn could sell and how quickly folks will eat it up. Joshua vs Wilder wouldn't be the biggest fight in boxing if Wilder had no fan base or "profile" as he likes to say. Hearn wouldn't be yoffering Wilder 5-7 million to face Chisora/Whyte if he no "profile."Comment

No way in hell would I be able to do interviews for that long. I'd just gather them around and have them ask me questions for an hour.Comment

Of course he would if he believes that Whyte can beat Wilder. Charles Martin was overpaid at the amount not that far off 5 mil if I'm not mistaken. This is how Eddie bought the belt for AJ. Nice purchase, paid off handsomely. Imagine what would be a pay off in a domestic HW unification of all the belts. For the first time in British history. It's a chance worth taking for 7 mil.Comment

It's hard listening to a Wilder interview now. He's speaking from the heart and that's to be respected. But it's not entertaining or interesting. It's like he's always trying to convince people that he's worth paying attention to.
I liked controversial Wilder much better: talk about fighters taking PEDs because they "need that help" against him, talk about Joshua being a ducking coward who doesn't deserve to hold the belts. Talk about a weak HW division with nobody wanting to step up. Then mention Tyson Fury, the lineal champion, the guy who straight up embarrassed Grabomir "I Chose to Lose" Clinchko, one of the greatest champions. Sell the fight from there. Promise the fans that Fury will not leave the fight on his feet.Comment
