    Cruiserweight contender Yunier Dorticos (22-1, 21 KOs) is plotting his next move, after suffering the first defeat of his career. In the semi-finals of the World Boxing Super Series tournament in February, Dorticos was knocked out by Murat Gassiev in their WBA, IBF cruiserweight unification.

      I agree, he has all the tools, hes got a long lean frame and shouldn't have big problem making weight
      Also he wasn't in great shape vs Gassiev, a bit soft, he could improve and be a real beast at 200lbs and make more money as a champ hopefully than as a heavyweight fringe guy

            I dunno, man. If these guys fought ten times, I think Gassiev wins most, if not all. I like Dorticos, but he just had nothing for Gassiev, and he fought his heart out.

                All good points and I agree that dorticos would be better advised to stay at cruiser, at least for a while. I also think that he needs to work on more variation to his game than just jab-cross.

                    Dorticos vs. Tabiti @ Cruiserweight! Make it happen! Dorticos can go up after that! At 6'3", he actually can move up whenever he's ready!
