Oscar doesn't care about Nelo's legacy per se. He knows it wont taint their money! He is right though. Which guy got busted, whos legacy is tainted? Fans forget pretty quick after they retire.

Mexican fighters can just do what they want now and blame the meat and it's ok, all will be forgiven

Maybe If this smaller less muscular version of Canelo convincingly decisions or KOs Golovkin - fans "may" end up believing he was innocent to begin with.....they'll probably see this new body as a strategy instead of a depleted PEDed frame...... If he loses convincingly?? I think its safe to say he'll be seen as "Clenelo" for the rest of his career and for life.....

Well s**t considering Margarito still had a fan base even after getting busted with illegal wraps...and taking one look around this place at all of the apologists like it's the meats fault and not the professional athletes fault says everything about why they aren't worried. Mexico has produced some f**king amazing fighters, some of my personal favorite athletes but that was under a different generation of fans who held their fighters fully responsible and accountable. If everyone else can hold their fighters accountable for their transgressions so should you.

Of course Oscar is going to say this. If I was in his shoes I would say the same dam thing too!
