Man's natural drive is to procreate with as many women as possible so affairs are hardly surprising, they're part of the natural order of things which many contemporary societies have chosen to stigmatize. It's not an ideal situation but Taylor might try to assess things logically and scientifically, refraining from an emotional response as much as possible. Her dad is only human after all and if it wasn't for this urge to procreate then she, herself, would never have come into existence.
