Would they have been ducking Golovkin then, or would Golovkin be the ducker? Or would they both have been ducking?

Or is it different because you like Canelo?
We dont have to worry about that because clearer minds took care of that.

And FYI im glad GGG got what he wanted. Pednelo is the one that fuked up the orginal rematch. GGG did everything right. Thats ALL on Canelo and it cost him big time Reputation and some serious $$$$.

Hopkins fought a ton of bums at the weight and so has GGG.

3 fights with that scrub Robert Allen, come on lmao! Echols twice...C-Level Echols?

Safe to say this type of record doesn't mean shít.

Well, he fought Allen 3 times because he quit in the first one as he was getting his ass beat.

Thinking of it, right there there should be a question mark on his BS record.

One should never get to keep ones titles when choosing to get out of a losing fight.

In fact it causes more problems if you decide the regular 'World' title doesn't count - consider how many World titlists and title fights would have to be disregarded if we derecognise the 'Regular' title. Just for starters Linares would never have been a titlist. Broner wouldn't have held a title when he fought Chino - the list goes on.... The rule I use is that the regular WBO 'world' title (and defenses thereof) should be counted unless there is an incumbent 'super' titlist, in which case the defenses of that title take precedence. Course, though, you're quite entitled to figure it any way you please.

Imagine defending your title against Steve Frank.
A guy who only had one 10 round fight before. Which he lost.

Canelo winning would really hurt the GGG fans.

Hopkins has the most overrated title defense streak of all time. He purposely hid out at 160 to avoid the danger of a 168 lb. prime Jones Jr. rematch and the likes of Toney and others at 168. He fought Robert Allen 3X...imagine if GGG fought Macklin or Murray 3X! His detractors would be in full hate mode. Never mind the long string of "never-was, who the fcuk is that guy?" opponents Hopkins padded his record with...Syd Vanderpool, Steve Frank, Joe Lipsey, Bo James, Andrew Council, Simon Brown, Echols 2x, Carl Daniels, Morrade Hakkar, Howard Eastman...toss in two blown up WWs (Trinidad and DLH) and I can't see how anyone can praise this streak.

also, the WBA junior title..... really ?

ducking mando's and defending junior titles is not exactly how Hopkins did his thing
Ikr, so big and bad about all the belts and then ducks the mandatory. It's a pathetic marketing ploy imo... I don't count a bs title as the real thing but GGGtards do. GGG has a long way to go for the legit record.
