98% of boxers who make a comeback always FAIL!!

I was looking this up, I was researching boxers who made a comeback after a long layoff and I worked it out that 98% of them aren't successful and it ends in failure!

Doesn't look good for Tyson fury! It's very hard to come back after a long time out!

I've been telling people but they don't WANT to believe so they won't. Boxers can't all be Mikey Garcia and Andre ward.

Title is a bit inconsistent, they just fail, not "always fail".

WTF Garcia and Ward were in their prime when they "retired" and then came back in their prime age or close to. They were not 35+.

Prime Kermit Cintron after 1 year of inactivity became completely shot. Forget long layoffs. Even short ones make me nervous.

Fury will not fail because of a comeback he never actually lost, he will fail because he’s going up against the hardest puncher known to mankind.

To me that is good news because I don't like the loud mouthed, disrespectful bragger and I think boxing would be better off without him. I know he has a huge fan club who love him but that is my honest opinion. I will say the overall quality of his opponents has been very good. This fight he has Saturday and the fight before that are terrible cherry picks even for a champion who has been off almost 3 years. Ali was forced out of boxing for almost 4 years and fought top 10 contenders right away.Fury's opponent is ranked 119th in the world. Fury is a 40 to 1 betting favorite to win.
