Just a question.. if Fury looks atrocious against Pianeta, are all the Wilder fans here going to still say from a pugilistic perspective that wilder / fury is currently the best fight in the division?
Genuinely curious.
Because If Fury is shocking, then kudos for not backing down from buying the "lineal" title just the same as AJ bought the IBF.Comment

The man is as crazy as a bag of wasps.....too much ******* has made him cuckoo.
Trying to compare himself to a leonard is mindboggling lol
Leonard beat hearns,benitez,duran,hagler
Fury beat chisora, hammer, cunningham, klitchcko ...what a fuucking nutbag lolComment

I hear you, but this is a business before its a sport, and DW-Fury will attract casuals. The match up represents the biggest payday available for both sides. Who else should DW fight? [ I have no bias, BS from both sides with AJ, ] what other options are you interested to see? I would rather see DW face Fury, over Whyte? or Hughie, Brazile, or Parker? Takam? I was looking forward last year to see DW travel to face Pov but then that fight had issues. I hope they finalize this, even the promotional tour is going to be entertaining
I have an awful feeling fury will dance around the ring a'la seferi and eventually get chinned or just jab wilder to death like he did Wlad.
from a viewer standpoint, the fights awful until wilder maybe gets the bomb landed, and from a current perspective its a moneygrab fighting a man who is in no fit state to challenge for a prestigous title yet.
great business by wilder. **** fight for the reasons above.Comment

Tyson Fury is a funny guy (sometimes) lol I hope he doesn't get caught with some luck sh** and loses a chance at the Wilder fight. I need him to go in there and spark this clown in two or three rounds lolComment

Whyte is a good fight, I agree with you, but as mentioned both parties..[dw/fury] know this fight makes the most financial sense at this time. Boxing is so low profile in North America. [ It seems to be gaining momentum ever since Floyd KO'd Mac IMO ] as far as viewership it is way below NFL/NBA/MLB/ NCAA Basketball/Football/ not to mention UFC and NHL. Same fans who have watched DW so far will watch vs Whyte, whereas Fury brings a story that can be sold and these guys can make a career high payday. The media following these two will be insane, 2 personalities made for the TMZ/instagram generation. It's easy to get frustrated as a fan because there is no set schedule, it's not like NFL where the Bears are playing the Packers this week and home to the Lions next week. For me the details and politics represent boxing as much as the actual fights, we cannot make the matches all we can do is decide to watch or not.Comment
