Cristofer Rosales has been sparring with Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez and Felix Alvarado who is set to fight for the IBF jr.flyweight title vs. Randy Petalcorin, so you can imagine the conditioning Rosales is coming in with for this 12 rounder.

Can Paddy Barnes hang 12 rounds? Maybe...Lu Bin had only one professional fight vs. Triple-C Canizalez when Bin challenged for the WBA light-flyweight title but was stopped in the 12 round ; Paddy has a few more fights and is more experienced, how that chin fares is another matter.

I haven't seen any of Rosales since Andew Selby beat him.
Can't really see Barnes pulling it off however.

Paddy Barnes is one of the most boring fighters in boxing. Dull personality too.

i saw some of that, it looked like choclatito had just returned from a bender with prince Naz lol, he looked like ****

I didnt realise this Rosales chap was the same guy that KO'd higa? and fought yafai and andrew selby. he was supposed to be an Eddie Hearn Nicaraguan street sweeper brought over to lose for pennies, but great to see he's actually surpassed that and made a nice career for himself!

If i remember correctly i thought selby was very lucky to get the decision against him, got dropped and was hanging on for dear life at times. Paddy Barnes punches less hard than even selby LOL so unless he shows true grit and heart i doubt he get the the W here.

I have not seen the latest sparring between Roman Gonzalez and Cristofer Rosales ; I know they sparred based on a recent interview before boarding his plane to Ireland. ( If you got a link I appreciate it. )

However I do remember their sparring for Daigo Higa ; I too seen a rusty 'Chocolatito' , yet despite the poor version of Gonzalez that I saw in sparring in the Higa camp I think its fair to say that, that may not necessarily be a good measure of Roman Gonzalez today considering Cristofer Rosales did pull one of the highest upsets in the sport this year in that performance capturing the WBC flyweight title. I cant wait till September to see if Choco still has something left.

About Andrew Selby : you know what bro, I know Selby went down in the first round but what really has bothered me since watching that fight is that channel 5 as far as I know, did not provide another angle of this su****ious 'slip' in the final round.

Do you got a copy of it showing this in another angle? I think it looks like a clear knockdown. Still given the scores it wouldn't matter on the official judges score cards but I had Rosales winning.
