Comments Thread For: Lennox Lewis: Fury More Difficult To Beat Than Wilder, Joshua

Fury is a slick crafty undefeated lineal heavyweight champion, he is the man to beat. He is mentally focused and is getting back into shape. Wilder is in for a very tough fight

He was, it's too early to tell if he's back and probably won't know unless he beats Wilder or looks spectacular losing somehow.

If he loses though I wouldn't be surprised if he disappears after his pay cheque and that's his reason for taking the fight early.

He apparently thinks Fury is the same man he was 3 years ago before subjecting his body to drug and alcohol abuse, and a couple years of serious obesity.

Considering all three are undefeated as pros, it's really impossible to say that.

In my opinion Fury, even at his best, had the weakest chin and worst physical conditioning of the three. He's elusive for a man his size but he doesn't really let his hands go, and when he does, he doesn't land much. And when he lands, they don't really do much damage.

I could maybe see him dancing to a points decision at his absolute peak, but I don't see him hurting Joshua or Wilder and I think it's more likely either one of them catches him on the chin eventually and puts him out.

Two years prior and that's what Wlad would have done too. Hell, that version of Wlad would mop Fury, Wilder, or Joshua up inside 10 rounds.

This. Inactivity, drugs. 80 pound weight gain. Older. I doubt he's the same but he's still young so maybe baby. Maybe not.

It's mostly mental with Fury. So long as he's in period where he's mentally on then, yes, most other things will fall into place. When he's on, he's in the gym....so he'll do the work in that dept....I'm not putting a lot on the abuse he did to his body because, *****, the chance of a KO in this fight is pretty high whether he is 100% prime or not.

I think we'll know how difficult he really will be when more interviews are done - this guy seemed to remember every minute of every Wlad fight in his career, he studied him, he knew how to get under his skin, and really took control of that fight before the first bell rang. I'm waiting to hear more of that kind of talk from Fury

A fit Fury dances around Wilder and Joshua to an easy decision.

doesnt matter..cruiserweight and feather fisted cunningham had fury down. two awkward styles collide, I'll give the edge to the guy with the one punch ko power.
